Storm Sail Testing

Prior to departure we tested Boundless through a gale.  The winds in Lake Ontario on this fall day were blowing 45 knots as the cold front passed through.  Boundless handled the wind off the beam with ease.

Mayor of Toronto wishing the crew well

On the day of departure from Quebec City to Cape Breton, Mayor John Tory of Toronto provided the crew with a send off video of (mostly) best wishes.

Heading to the Canso Straight, St. George's Bay

Winds and seas are pushing us towards the Canso Straight that divides Cape Breton from Nova Scotia's mainland. Speeds over ground up to 15 knots. PERFECT fall sail.

A Prayer for Boundless

The Rev. Dr. Pter Holmes says a quick prayer for the crew of Boundless.  The best part is his comment at the end.

Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport

At the Halifax Airport we ran into Minister Duncan, Member of Parliament for Etobicoke North who gave us well wishes for the journey.  Thank you Minister Duncan!
